Inspirational Counselling

Mike is a professional counsellor, qualified through the Australian Institute of Professional Counsellors (AIPC). There is a counselling room at Delvin which is quiet, peaceful and private to have your counselling appointment with Mike. Before Mike graduated he has been counselling house guests at Delvin for many years free of charge. Now having spent three years studying he is charging $60 per hour for his fee. Mike is experienced in all walks of life and considers CBT and ACT therapy his best tool for counselling, added to this Mike likes to throw in a spiritual aspect for clients to think about. This doesn't mean that people have to be religeous, spirituality goes beyond the boundaries of religions. People do not have to be spiritual themsleves either to benefit from another angle of looking at things. However counselling is not about the Counsellor throwing their veiwpoints on to the client but assisting the client in their goals so if spiritual matter is not your bag, we won't go there. Mike also believes in a wholistic approach to healing, incorporating nature walks, meditation, massage and pampering. If it is appropriate homework can be done to improve the rate of healing and quality of life. Once a client has completed counselling therapy with Mike you will have the tools to approach any problematic situation which might arise in the future. However the door is always open for clients to come and go in therapy as much as they like.

Apppointments can be made for Inspirational Counselling whether you are a house guest or not, the fee is still $60 for everyone and Mike covers all types of issues and will inspire you to live a fuller and happier life free of stress and worry. Confidentiality is assured and Mike maintains a professional standard at all times in accordance with the industry's Code of Ethics.
