Deposits and payments!

Rooms or Package deals will not be held without payment in full or a deposit unless there has been a special agreement first. Please understand if the room is sold to you and it cannot be sold again to another buyer. If you decide not to stay, Delvin's policy is you will be charged in full. However, if enough notice has been given you will receive a full or partial refund or transferrable midweek gift certificate.

General Conditions

Smoking is permitted only outside the building thanks very much.

Drinking alcohol is fine as long as its not to excess thank you.

Visitors are fine while you are here but please check with Michael first as it may not always be appropriate as regards to other guests quality of time, car parks, lateness of hour etc.

Noise Please be aware there are other houses in the immediate vacinity who value their privacy, peace and quiet.

Shoes Please wipe your shoes on the mat as gravel sticks to the shoe and scratches the polished floors. Slippers would be a great idea to wear inside the house thanks very much.

Temperature The Dandenongs is always up to 6 degrees colder than Melbourne so if you've left home in a sunny 20 degrees it will be a cold 14 degrees here so please wear appropriate clothing. The house is heated to a warm 20 degrees in winter. We are in a global warming crisis and we need to help out as much as possible by dressing appripriately for the cold weather. In summer there is no air conditioning however, on the few really bad days, the worst it gets is not that bad and it always cools off in the evening.

Spa The Spa is a bathtub with jets and air bubbles, it needs to be filled and emptied with every use. Please consider the current water crisis here too. It is very comfy and two can squeeze in at a pinch - it was put in for it's therapeutic value rather than its recreational value. It is in a separate bathroom downstairs for all to use.

Dogs there are normally two well behaved Shi Tzu dogs that reside in the house, they can be farmed out to Grandma's house if they are a problem. This breed is considered a very low allergenic problem.
